Google User Data

When you choose to use Google Slides integration, Chord Craft collects and accesses the following Google user data:

• Your Google account basic profile information (name and email address) for authentication
• Access to Google Slides presentations that Chord Craft creates on your behalf
• Permission to create new Google Slides presentations in your Google Drive

Chord Craft only accesses Google Slides presentations that it has created and does not access any other documents, files, or information from your Google account.

How We Use Google User Data

We use Google user data exclusively for the following purposes:

• Authentication: Your Google account information is used to securely authenticate your identity when you choose to use Google Slides integration
• Google Slides Creation: We use your Google account permissions to create new Google Slides presentations containing the lyrics from your songs in Chord Craft
• Content Management: We access only the Google Slides presentations that Chord Craft has created to allow you to view, edit, or manage these presentations

We limit our use of Google user data to providing and improving the Google Slides integration functionality within Chord Craft. We do not use Google user data for any other purposes, including advertising, marketing, data analysis unrelated to the core functionality, or any commercial purposes beyond the stated functionality.

Analytics Data

We collect usage analytics to help improve the application. This includes:

• Feature usage patterns
• Performance metrics
• Error reports
• App version information

This data is associated with your username to help us understand how different users interact with the app. We use this information solely to improve the app's functionality and user experience. We do not share this data with third parties or use it for any other purpose.

IP Addresses

When you use Chord Craft, your IP address may be logged temporarily to ensure the app functions correctly and to monitor server performance. We do not use this information for tracking purposes or for identifying individual users. The IP address is stored only for the necessary duration and is not linked to any other personal identifiers.

Data Sharing and Transfer

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your Google user data to third parties. We do not share Google user data with any external parties except as necessary to provide the Google Slides integration service (i.e., communicating with Google's servers to create and access presentations). Your Google user data remains within the secure boundaries of Chord Craft's application and Google's own services.

Hosting and Third-Party Services

Chord Craft's servers are hosted by Google Cloud Services, but they are not operated or managed by Google. Google does not have access to the data processed by Chord Craft's servers. The use of Google Cloud Services may involve basic technical logging (e.g., server access logs) for operational purposes, but no personally identifiable information is intentionally collected beyond the IP address.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect all data, including Google user data and IP addresses, from unauthorized access or disclosure. Our data protection mechanisms include:

• Encryption: All data transmission between Chord Craft and web services is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS protocols
• Secure Authentication: We use Google's OAuth 2.0 authentication system, which provides secure, token-based access without storing your Google password
• Limited Access: Google user data is only accessed when necessary to perform the specific Google Slides integration functions you request
• Infrastructure Security: Chord Craft uses standard industry practices to safeguard its infrastructure and follows Google Cloud Platform security guidelines

Cookies and Tracking

Chord Craft does not use cookies or any form of tracking technologies.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain different types of data for varying periods based on their purpose:

• Google User Data: Authentication tokens and access permissions are retained only for the duration of your active session or until you revoke access through your Google account settings. We do not permanently store your Google account information
• Google Slides Content: The Google Slides presentations created by Chord Craft remain in your Google Drive under your control. You can delete these presentations at any time through your Google Drive
• IP Addresses: If logged, IP addresses are retained only for as long as necessary to manage technical operations and maintain security. Once no longer needed, this information is deleted from our records
• Analytics Data: Usage analytics are retained for a period consistent with improving app functionality, typically no longer than 24 months
